About This Coffee
This Grade 1 heirloom coffee comes from the highlands of Hambela in Ethiopia’s Guji Zone, where elevations between 1,900 and 2,100 meters and rich red soil nurture coffees of exceptional clarity and vibrancy. Sourced by Sibu Coffee Producers, cherries are carefully selected from smallholder farms and processed at local washing stations that support hundreds of seasonal and full-time workers.
Using a fully washed method, the coffee undergoes traditional wet fermentation before drying slowly on raised beds—ensuring a clean, structured, and expressive cup.
Tasting Notes
This is a floral and fruit-forward coffee with a fragrance of cocoa and jasmine, followed by juicy notes of strawberry, milk chocolate, and lime. A touch of vanilla and delicate florals lingers in the aftertaste, balanced by a medium body and a bright citric acidity.
Expect a cup that is juicy, clean, and sweet—an elegant expression of washed Guji terrain.
